Basic Computer Installation and Maintenance
Course overview
This course is designed to allow learners to achieve skills required at the workplace to carry out range of IT work in a professional way. They will be able to design and create documents such as invoices, letterheads, memos, minutes etc. These qualifications provide increased flexibility and choice for learners and centres, allowing them the opportunity to use any method, or combination of methods, which clearly demonstrates that the learning outcomes and assessment criteria have been met by candidates.

This course is for those with little or no knowledge of the main components of a modern computer. For those some knowledge, this course gives you the opportunity to learn how to build a computer from scratch.

Through online using Google Meet, Google classroom and Zoom, Moodle Virtual Learning Environment and classroom.
This course is internally set and assessed through practical exercises.
An equivalent to Entry 3 in any accredited course.
At the end of the course, you will achieve Internet Safety certificate from the college. You can progress to Level 1 courses in ICT
