This course is suitable for anyone with little or no knowledge in ICT and those who want to gain a range of ICT practical skills. It is also useful for those who want to progress to other level 1 ICT qualifications.
The average duration length of the course is 45 hours.
You will study the following
Using ICT – using correct way of starting and shutting down computer, storing information and following health and safety procedures.
Finding and selecting information stored locally on a computer or in internet using web-based search engines like Google, Yahoo Search
Developing, presenting and communicating information. This will include using different techniques to enter, format text, graphics as well printing the required.
Through online using Google Meet, Google classroom and Zoom, Moodle Virtual Learning Environment and classroom.
The course is externally set, internally assessed and externally moderated. It graded as Pass or Fail.
There are no formal entry requirements to do this course.
At the successful end to the course, you can progress to Level 1 courses in ICT.
