You will study the following
Using numbers and the number system – whole numbers, fractions and decimals
Using common measures, shapes and space
Handing information and data
Through online using Google Meet, Google classroom and Zoom, Moodle Virtual Learning Environment and classroom.
This course is a 100-minutes (One and 40 minutes) externally set on-demand assessment, internally marked and externally verified. There are two components of the assessment. The first one is
Section A: Non-calculator – 25 minutes
Section B: Calculator – 75 minutes
No prior knowledge, understanding, skills or qualifications are required before learners register for this qualification. You should however be proficient to Entry Level 3.
At the end of the course, you will achieve Entry 3 certificate in Functional Skills Maths. You can progress to Level 1 Functional Skills in Mathematics.
